The Selma effect: Catholic nuns and social justice 50 years on

This article reflects American religious congregations and the changes that have occurred due to the participation of nuns in calling for racial equality, especially by participating in marches in Selma, Alabama in 1965. While reflecting the U.S. story, the history of change in religious congregations is similar in Canada.
