The Leadership Team or General Council is composed of the General Superior and three Councillors elected to serve the Congregation for a period of four years.

The ministry of the Leadership Team is directed to the entire Congregation to promote unity, maintain the charism and to promote the life, spirit and mission of the Congregation.

The current Leadership Team was elected April 2007 and installed June 17, 2007 and will serve until June 2011.

Directional Statement Chapter 2007

We call our Leadership

— to a style of governance which employs a consultative decision-making process and honours our communal wisdom.

We mandate our Leadership

— to plan the future use of our resources using an inclusive process, honouring our ethical responsibilities, especially to the poor, protecting the integrity of creation and providing inspiration for our future legacy.

We accept personal responsibilities

for doing the preparatory work necessary — to participate in a consensus model of shared decision-making that involves honest, respectful dialogue.

United in prayer, we will strive

— to maintain an attitude of trust and confidentiality and to support and empower one another.

The Current Leadership is:

General Superior - Sr. Pauline Lally

General Assistant - Sr. Una Byrne

Councillor - Sr. Dianne McNamara

Councillor - Sr. Monica Whalen

"Serving with compassion,
Trusting in Providence
We walk in hope."
