The Sisters of Providence made a return visit to Belleville high school St. Theresa Secondary as part of the annual conference hosted by the school’s Renaissance Society.

Archivist Danielle Hughes and Tara Kainer of the Justice and Peace and Integrity of Creation office were among the participants in the one-day conference in late April, designed to give students insight into their faith from a past, present and future perspective.

Grade 11 Christianity Studies students Tanor Bonin and Josh London created their presentation on the Sisters of Providence. Josh is the grandson of Providence Associate Barb Baker.

Displays by both students and dozens of community groups were set up in the school gymnasium.
