Museum

The Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul have a small museum in Kingston: the Heritage Room located at Providence Motherhouse.

The Heritage Room documents the story and work of the Sisters of Providence of St. Vincent de Paul from the establishment of the congregation in 1861, through its growth and missions, to its reality today.

The Heritage Room is an impressive one-room museum on the first floor of Providence Motherhouse. The exhibits range from displays of traditional habits, photographs, needlework, relics, statues and ceramics to the first pump organ used at the Motherhouse.
