Description

Lent: What does Love got to do with it?

Lent is a season of reflection and preparation before the celebrations of Easter. While it is a privileged time to pray, fast, and give alms, it is, also a season that invites us to respond to Jesus’ question, do you love me? A question, as Simon Peter discovered, is more than an emotion but a relationship. Come, and join us for this day of reflection and discover what love has to do with Lent.

Facilitator: Deacon Bill Gervais

Bill Gervais is a permanent deacon ordained for the Archdiocese of Kingston. He has advanced degrees in pastoral ministry and spirituality. His ministries include pastoral care, spiritual direction, as well as facilitating days of reflection and writing a monthly religion column in the Kingston Whig Standard.
