Doubtless you received the telegram I sent you yesterday announcing the appointment of Sister M. of Providence to the office of Superior at Holyoke. I hope this arrangement will be satisfactory to you especially when I tell you that although Sr. M.P. has full charge of the house, her first duty is to be the care of the Schools of St. Jerome’s Institute. She has for assistants in the House on Dwight Street, Sister M. Agnes, and at the “Mount” Sister M. Ignatius C two Sisters quite competent to attend to all domestic arrangements, leaving plenty of time for Sr. M.P.’s special and personal supervision of the School.
