House of Providence, Kingston
Mother M. Edward, Sup. Gen.

I received your letter and thank you very much for the Order.

I have it almost completed. The reason I have not written to you before concerning the Portrait, my frame man was getting some new designs in, it came yesterday. It is splendid, very neat. I know you will like it, so I ordered it made, it is massive also, all Oak with only a small silver lining just to relieve the portrait from the frame. It is more expensive frame than the others, but it will not cost you anymore. I will send it down in a few days.

May I show it to our Mother Sup. here of the House of Providence. Kindly let me know and oblige.

Yours with respect,
Edwin A. Crossman
